A while has passed, since my previous journal. College had me fairly busy, and not just with homework. Every aspect of it became my life during the past five months. Now that Winter break is here, I have a few weeks with nothing to do and it's surprisingly—dare I say—boring. It's a sudden freedom from most responsibilities. I'm supposed to feel like I'm carrying a lighter pack, yet I still have a compelling sensation that I'm supposed to be doing something. I don't know why. I can feel it in the pit of my stomach though. It's unsettling. I suppose I'll take it as proof that I would not be able to withstand living without other people, despite my occasional anti-social behavior.

Anyway, it's that time of year. I suppose I could say, "Everyone gets caught up in the holiday madness, and they forget what Christmas is all about," but I think you've probably heard that one. I could post the Christmas story here, but I don't think I'll do that either. I will at least leave a link to it though (<a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=luke%202:1-20;&version=51;">Luke 2:1-20). The greatest gift has been given.

My subscription will be running out soon (January 8), so when it does I will be starting a new account. Why? Simple. I don't like the 17 in my name. I have nothing personal against the number 17. It was actually my favorite number for a few years. I just don't like having numbers in names. It's a secret what the new name is called, but I already have the name in my possession. It's not that much different, but in my opinion its an improvement. I hate having to start with 0 page views again, but that really doesn't matter. It's not like high page views does anyone any good. Oh, by the way, a new name doesn't mean that I'm switching to another art style. I still plan to do pixel art, photography, and digital drawings. I hope to do some more painting too.
